Hi, Roundhouse designed the kitchen only. We are bespoke designers and manufacturers of kitchens and can only answer questions about the kitchen cabinetry and appliances – sorry!

I'd go for what I prefer rather than following trend (to an extent of course) as it is yourself who will be using/seeing the bathroom daily and not everyone else! Also, each dace is different, so it may be such that a set of tiles which look good in one space may not look as effective in another due to lighting and size. If glossy tiles is what you like, go for it! if you are wanting to maximise lighting in an alternative way, consider large mirrors, different forms of lighting such as LED mirrors, spotlights on a dimmer, etc. Colour also influences how a space looks. Thank you both @rinked @minnie101 for your comments and feedback. I think flipping the kitchen to the other side of the rear extension looks like it could work, but I think we'll lose some essential kitchen storage space. I like the way you've increased the depth of the utility space, it makes the area look a lot more fuller. If we were to go back to the drawing board and start completely from scratch, how differently would you lay out the spaces??
