Comments (7)Really depends on what value you put on kitchen living spaces v's large bedroom spaces idea 1: would be to change reception 1 into open plan kitchen living space and then put corridor where kitchen and bed 1 is to create bed 2 as shown, kitchen living space to the front and bedroom bathroom study to the rear, the study room could double up as an occasional bedroom if required or dressing room or even ensuite. hope this helps...See Morenew flat
Comments (5)Hi kelly-Marie, congratulations on the new flat! The colours you have chosen are dark so as said above, look to see how much light you have in each room at different times of the day which will determine which colours work best. Is the lounge carpet already down or are you fitting it? What other rooms are there in the flat? Chocolate brown could look great in the bedroom as per pics from room-decorating-ideas. These work due to number of windows (light), White furniture, bedding etc so you may have to get the balance right. Do you already have lounge and bedroom furniture? If so what are they like? As Elena said a dark grey carpet will absorb a lot of light. If your lounge gets little light grey paint wouldn't be the best colour to choose tbh although some shades may work. Having the same or same colour flooring throughout will also give the feeling of a bigger space....See MoreNew Flat - Colour and layout ideas?
