Do warm grey paint colours exist?
Comments (8)Hello Maxine, I have to say I love grey... The article above is a good source of visual stimulus if you have not gone down the grey route before.. I even suggest going down the charcoal route too... I think grey is a warm and enveloping colour and if you team it with vibrant pieces, accents of gold or copper which are really fantastic... as are rich yellows and burnt oranges... :)) lamp black little greenescree little greene...See MoreWarm greys
Comments (6)Hello Helen, Well the grey you use is very much dependent on how much light you have. So without any further information, I would also suggest having a look at Little Greene who do very nice chalky paint that has a dense finish. Also earthy greys with hints of brown are rather nice.. Consider too what they will be siting with.. Whitening again by LG is another lovely chalky creamy white that is gr8 for ceilings.. Get some sample pots and paint onto squares of A4.. When dry you can place them where you're considering the colour and also put them next to any additional colours you may be using. Light levels change and so will the appearance of your chosen colour.. : ))...See Morewarm grey for lounge room
Comments (24)@tamp75 - yes I have agonised for a long time over what type of window dressing to use. Hence we have been living with nothing for a while. But we have family from overseas visiting in 2 weeks so really need to start making decisions. The window is really wide - almost the full width of the room. But as you say not particularly tall. Moving the radiator wasn't an option unfortunately - we did consider it. We just didn't have the funds to do that. The other option is short curtains which I know don't look as good but I'm not sure what other choices we have. We need the material to keep in the heat in winter....See MorePaint colour for Taupe kitchen
