Need help with living room design - long wall length vertical window

Any ideas on how best to deal with a long vertical wall length window. Its an isolated wall. And the wall adjacent to it has 2 regular length windows. See attached pics.

I am not sure what you are unsure about.
If you don't like that the windows are different on one side of the room then try to unify the look with matching curtains that run floor to ceiling.
Alternatively you don't know how to place furniture consider zoning the area with rugs

thanks Jonathan. perhaps I didn't phrase my question well. wanted suggestions on furniture arrangement, to use curtain or not for the full length window etc. just some general design ideas for this type of space.

I would suggest that it's impossible to give professional advice that can be relied upon without full measurements and details. For this reason, I'd suggest you contact a professional in your area (Houzz has a great pro directory) and let them know your needs. Perhaps sit with them and discuss at length your seating requirements, lifestyle, functional uses for the space, and have them work out a floor plan for you with measurements that you can use to shop yourself. This is usually an inexpensive service and will yield much more usable results than posing the question on Houzz discussions thread. For instance, have you thought about whether or not you want a desk in the space for doing bills or using your laptop more conveniently? Have you thought about whether there might be use for a game table, or one where your kids (if you have them...) could do homework or eat snacks, or what you can use as a buffet during large parties. When you complete a renovation like this, you have to determine how the space will now be used and incorporated into your life. Without doing this you will likely buy the wrong type of furniture for your needs. A designer should and would discuss all these details with you, look around the rest of your house, make suggestions, and give you an accurate, professional floor plan to work from. Yep her stuff is out of mine, did I tell you that before? She was suppose to move into the house and it fell through the day before so all her things bar sofa and bed had to be stored in mine( she got the keys 6days later though). All the upstairs is getting painted just now so they have stored everything in this long living room just now. I've got a HNC in interior architecture but I liked the technical side more and was also worrying of jobs( doesn't seam to be a lot of jobs in Glasgow for interior design) so I swapped to doing architectural technology, this is my 2nd year doing this course so HND, see how this year goes and either take a job at technician or go into 3rd year at uni for same course. I can't draw at all, all done con computer with cad/ sketch up/ and now Revit but I'm hopeless at that just now,, I can trace though lol

Thank you for your response. We had plans pretty finalised until we found out that we can keep just that long wall into the large space as it is a load-bearing. There is an opportunity to put a door in though. I am attaching what it looked like with all the walls that we can now remove. We have also been tinkering with ideas which I am adding as well. I added some comments on the plans as well. What we want to have is a dining area with a large table that seats 8-10 people. We want enough space for two people to work and cook in the kitchen. Thus, we were thinking of an island or an L-shape workspace coming out. We'd like to have a utility room to have space for all the cleaning utensils. Washer and Dryer will be upstairs in a separate laundry room. The living room is nothing formal but an area to relax and watch TV. We'd like to have an L-shaped cough in there for a family of four (2 kids under the age of 10).

If the kitchen is new and to your taste - then why not keep it where it is and concentrate on making the new space work for you ... support pillars can be utilised as space dividers and work well as book shelving or art work display areas - to create a reading nook or music area etc etc . This is a great opportunity to consider things you'd like to do in the space - i.e. If you'd somewhere for a train set or car track to be set up for kids - or a place to grow indoor plants - or space for a monster sized dinner table for when the family all come round - then you may need extra sofas too ...
