Comments (2)This is very similar to my bedroom, i have my bed opposite the door and my wardrobe and chest of drawers right next to each other opposite my bed I have a white laminate floor and all the walls are painted white (except for the plum colour wallpaper you can sort of see in the 1st pic which is on a chimney breast right next to my door!!) To keep the room feeling spacious I just went for venetian blinds at the window in a beige colour It works well and doesn't feel cramped at all...See MoreMain bedroom dilemma: Bedroom layout, walk in wardrobe(?)
Comments (9)Just a thought, what about putting the bed against the wall of the walk in wardrobe and you can still have your headboard, no need to change or move a radiator and the wife's side of the bed would be next to the wardrobe entrance. It's all a bit cramped by the looks of things and while you'll have your ensuite and your walkin wardrobe you'll still be walking into a box room. Another thought I had to to lose the bedside cabinets and increase the appearance of space would be in to have the bed side lights on the partition wall and the storage built into the stud wall with pull out shelves for those breakfast in bed moments and cups of tea. Change the door to open onto your landing as well!!! Good luck...See MoreFitted Bedroom Wardrobe and Convertible Furniture
Comments (6)Hi Lauren, we're too far away to be of too much help, but the product range we offer most office is theCrown Living / Lifespace range. They have a huge range of door colours/styles (Over 120 at last count!) in matts, gloss, sparkes, painted woods/woodgrains, metalics etc. and a very flexible system. We recently came up against Sharps, and our quote for a similar configuration/style was around half the price of Sharps. If you pick carefully your styles and mix of units, it can be very good value. You could find your local dealer at this link. Alternatively if you struggle to track down a dealer, we could quote for supply only and have delivered direct to you if you have your own fitter lined up, though obviously we are too far away to offer our usual levels of service....See MoreSmall Bedroom Wardrobes?
Comments (6)As mentioned above a good carpenter/handyman could fit a sliding door system for a reasonable price, but may not be able to maximise the space as custom joinery would. https://www.houzz.co.uk/projects/2612454/sliding-door-wardrobe-in-gospel-oak This is a project I worked on a few years ok in Gospel Oak so excuse the low quality photos. The room was a strange 5 sided shape with high ceilings and around 6x6m. We managed to fill 3 sides with wardrobes and soft close sliding doors, double height hanging rails with pull down and still had room for drawer boxes in each side. The customers had limited options with the shape and size of the room so had to go for the bespoke option. Once the wardrobe was installed they were really glad they did!...See MoreThe Unbusy Home
