Shutter blinds or Roman blinds?
Comments (12)Hi lu9349 This is a really pretty window feature and I think that the addition of a window seat is an excellent idea here. Take a look at how we have styled this window seat area below using translucent dim out fabric. If you're going for a Hampton's/French provincial look I suggest the following swatches. Soft White above. Below Meadow Spring [ties in with your stained glass tint], Spring White Twig. Bloc Blinds range fit perfectly to the windows they are designed for. This allows easy installation of the blinds in minutes with no specialised equipment. We have a range of plain and pattern blackout and dim out fabrics to suit any window and you will find that additional curtains and shutters will be unnecessary. The blind can be fitted on the edge of the window recess or inside the recess providing a clean and stylish aesthetic in your bedroom. For further advice or support on how to install don’t hesitate to contact our team at info@blocblinds.com and we’ll be happy to help. Good Luck! Síle...See MoreBlackout window options

Comments (4)Hi Jenny, We have a range of blinds that you might be interested. Please take a look at our website for some ideas and inspiration, particularly our gallery page. One thing to bare in mind is that the price of shutters can be quite high so if you are looking to save some money, consider blinds for your kitchen and master bedroom windows. White wood venetian blinds can achieve a similar effect to shutters. If you are looking to create privacy without blocking all the light, you may wish to consider sunscreen roller blinds. For bedrooms, we would recommend blackout roller blinds to block the light effectively. You can always team them with curtains for a softer look. Comments (1)Have a piece of thick MDF cut to fit it like a child’s wooden jigsaw - insert it at night - if it’s covered with wadding and fabric it will squeeze in and stop the light. In the daytime just sit it on the floor or keep it under the bed....See MoreThe Shutter Shop
