Comments (12)Hi again appydaysdevon Taking your original ideas and wallpaper choice into consideration, I have created you a colour scheme for your kitchen. I would paint all your walls with Dulux Just Walnut to give the kitchen a fresh, neutral base. Then paint your window wall with Dulux Pebble Shore. Having the darker shade on this window will add depth and create the perfect back drop for your dark navy blind. You could always dip paint your barstools to add extra colour and personality, as shown in the image below: I would recommend you buy tester pots of the colours first, and try them out in your space and make sure you are truly happy with them before going ahead and purchasing the full tins. Good luck and please let me know how it all goes. Rebecca Davis Dulux Design Expert www.designer.duluxamazingspace.co.uk...See Moreadding some character to my kitchen PLEASE HELP!
Comments (9)I think the key thing here Jack is your budget. Since this is a DIY project. You cannot go wrong with Getting Chalkboard paint and go creative on the wall with art deco, depending on your personal interests. If you have a little bit more budget the next option would be choose a single color to tie the whole space together Some thing like Baby Blue, Persimon, Yellow or if you are feeling courages get try Hot Lave Remember this is only a tiny touchup not a highlight feature. The three places to put the color is 1- The Walls behind the television 2- The Splashback 3- The lights Total Cost a-) 3 New Pendant Lights b-) Tub of Paint c-) Glass Splashback d-) Splashback adhesive = £250-325 and one afternoon and a tub of tea. Let me know how it goes. It's a new kitchen so you want something durable because good cooked food has a bad habit of getting everywhere! Comments (4)Tricky one...is the original worktop wood ?....cant tell from pic. I'm guessing you would have to use a strong angled bracket that runs along the whole length and then a supporting pole. If you just want somewhere to sit for a short while could you sit where the bins are and put bins elsewhere (maybe in a cupboard?)...See MoreHillarys
