How did you make this!?

I love these low benches you’ve made! They would solve my storage space problem and create a relaxing living room area. What materials did you use? Is any of it pre-fabricated or is it all hand-made?

Thank you. These were indeed bespoke but it wasn't complicated. The tops are solid oak boards and the verticals MDF with a white veneer. A good joiner should be able to help you.

I do agree with ventilating the bed. I normally let it do that whilst i shower and get ready for work. But I cannot bear getting back into an unmade bed. Even on the odd occasion I fly out of the house and leave it unmade, I have to make it before I get back in... even if its only 30 mins b4 i get in. :-))

Just by installing a freestanding kitchen island will do the job. But make sure there's enough space. Though I did see small kitchen islands (like for two people etc) at the Murdoch Troon store (here at https://www.murdochtroon.co.uk/freestanding-units/central-island-units/) but if you want to throw a gourmet party, your kitchen should be big enough for everyone.

Thanks Jonathan, I can see how well this design works, however it takes away the garage which we need and we want to try to avoid knocking around the shower room and utility as we want to do as little work (and spend as little of our budget) as possible. We’re trying to see if we can get a decent kitchen/dining are just from the kitchen/living area when it is knocked through.
