What color is that on the cabinet doors? It looks real, but not quite.

As an alternative to painting, you could consider just buying & fitting new replacement doors and selling on your existing (new!) doors through ebay or a local selling site/facebook page. While it may be possible to paint the doors, depending on the finish, the results may be less than perfect and you might be even less pleased with the outcome than your current doors. A badly painted door will have virtually no resale value. There are many door replacement companies out there, and the prices can be a lot less than you might think. Something to consider perhaps! we are planning to update our kitchen and are keen on the pryam contemporary gloss lacquer cabinet door style in a colour. however we have received mixed advice re their durability, and that they scratch easily. Id be interested in peoples views and experience of this kitchen style

Update - the OH successfully sprayed the pine table using Valspar exact match paint, from B&Q where they can mix paint to match any colour you want - in this case it was Neptune Salt - very successfully and it's given a great finish. He just diluted it with approx 10% water. I have to say, everything he's sprayed has worked out really well. He originally started to do it because we wanted to update the kitchen cabinet door colour and a local place quoted us £40 per door - not to mention plinths and side panels, so the cost was prohibitively expensive. So he thought he'd have a go himself. That said, he did spend about £450'ish on the gun, he'd read bad reviews about some of the cheaper guns. But we more than covered the cost against the cost to have them done locally.

Hi Mally, From the image it looks like your house has soft mud bricks on the exterior. Bricks have a dominant character in nature. They may steal the focus point at glance from your front door. Deep-tone coloured doors complements brick I would advise to have white or same colour shaded windows and door frames. Dark shades can be elegant, welcoming colors . Additional tip , you might consider carrying the same style to the garage door. As it will create a design flow throughout the front view. Please do not hesitate to connect me for more assistance.
