Could you please tell me who made the doors and glazing? They really add character to the space. Beautifully designed project. Thank you.

The courtyard glazing is all bespoke and made by the contractor appointed. The timber is Oak.

If it's in a walk way area then I'd suggest making it more prominent- to avoid accidents ! If the island is a no go - then what about making a bench seat around it ? Or book case's . Might help if you attach a sketch of were it is ( I'm assuming it's the old corner of the existing house ? ) so we can best advise you ...

"Conservatory-type" is a great way to describe it. The structure had a polycarbonate roof with part-uPVC, part-solid siding, if that makes sense. With the new improvements, it's now a proper extension!

Personally I think you need to bin the idea to put the kitchen there because it divides the space in such a way that there are four areas that have no apparent purpose and are not really big enough to do anything with. I suggest you blank out the kitchen cabinet position and the utility room on the plan and give the blank space to a kitchen professional to show where they would put the cabinets.

What an amazing view! You have the opportunity to do something nice here and the current extension wont complement it. The thickness of the walls also look a bit worrying to be honest. Does it keep the area warm enough in winter? Energy efficiency is important. Especially if you want to extend to the rear i would consider taking it down, and make a new floor plan. You'd be throwing away the windows anyway. I'd love to have a go at the design for this. Not often you get to design something with such views. Don't hesitate to drop us a message pls! Cheers!
