Flush engineered wood floor - ideas on how to hide the expansion gap

Hello, all
I am would like to install a floating engineered wood floor in my kitchen. The floor will sit flush with the track of the sliding doors, and the tiles of the patio in the garden.
An expansion gap of maybe 10mm will be left between the edge of the flooring and the door track. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to hide the expansion gap? I don't want to use a threshold bar, or an edge profile, as these won't give me the flush finish that I'm looking for.

My kitchen - Floor will be leveled, underfloor heating installed, then engineered wood floor. Floor will be level with the track of the sliding doors. Expansion gap will be between the edge of the floor and the door track.

We have decided to take down most of the wall between the dining room and kitchen & build an island that will sit half in the kitchen and the other half in the dining room. (See plan). In the dining room we decided, instead of a formal dining table, we would place a log /bench type table (the kind you get in a pub outside or in a canteen) - right in the corner where by the wall between the lounge & dining room (where they meet the corner or bedroom 4 as in the plan). The table could be a great idea for a more formal meal as it would be for to sit more socially. But we want to use a storage bench / box (maybe an Ottoman style) along the walls with plenty of cushions to sit on / against the wall. This type of seating would continue across both walls in the corner, skip past the opening (leading to the shower / bedroom 4) and continue on into the corner where the dining room & kitchen meet (in front of the shower room). We love the type of seating / cushions in the first picture (white & blue). Since we do not know where we can buy such tyoe of seating. We thought we could, perhaps, recreate it by buying some wooden storage benches / boxes and add plenty of cushions on them to make them more comfortable to sit / lounge on. Comments (2)Hi Ocean Home Designs, There are many pro's and cons when installing a floor prior or after the kitchen. An advantage with fitting prior would be it makes life easier to fit a kitchen on top off, as the levels would be a lot easier to work from. Another benefit would be, the flooring will be easier/quicker to install with no kitchen obstructions to go around.
