AFTER 2: The opening into the dining room was closest to make way for upper cabinets. A pass through window keeps the kitchen open to the rest of the house (a year later in Phase II of the project the dining room was relocated to a screened porch space that was made into a four-seasons space. It is not pictured but is to the left of this photo.)
