2PM Architects

After researching architectural firms and looking through portfolios we appointed 2PM for our house extension project. They came highly recommended from a friend and now from us too - we couldn't be happier with the service. Although ours was only a relatively modest refurbishment and extension, working with 2PM felt like we had a top professional architectural firm on our side. They guys really listened to what we wanted, and made their own suggestions. Their drawings were clear and very detailed, and their guidance was invaluable in finding the right builder for the work. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We hired 2PM Architects for the remodelling of our 4 storey Kensington townhouse. The entire house was gutted out so that we could start again with a blank canvas. The vision was to create an open plan living space to let light flood through the entire house. 2PM Architects came up with several design schemes for the project and we worked in close collaboration on each architectural and design stage to ensure that the creative vision was translated into reality. We were extremely impressed with 2PM Architects for their professionalism, quality of work, quick turnaround time, and creative and innovative solutions.

I would highly recommend 2PM for any architectural work you might be considering. Having met with a few carefully chosen architects to talk about our project, 2PM stood head and shoulders above the other applicants. We selected this highly talented and professional partnership to make some major and complex changes to our house. Matthew and Peter took our vague ideas and produced exciting plans for a very bold project which we took to the planning stage. They produced detailed drawings and 3D models, using these to explain their vision of the project, how it would progress and what was involved. They also made suggestions of various building and decorative materials that could be used. Clear costings were provided and talked through for each aspect and, if needed, were modified to fit our budget. They were flexible about the project, taking on board our ever changing ideas coming up with thoughtful solutions and continually modifying the plans until we were satisfied. Their carefully constructed application for building permission overcame the limitations of the house being in a conservation area, the local council passing the plans at the first presentation and reporting back that it was the most exciting project that had ever come through their department! 2PM were a delight to work with. Their vision and enthusiasm were infectious as they worked ceaselessly to realise our ideas. Their vast, up to date knowledge of every area concerned with building, materials, engineering and planning is mind boggling, but, they will, if needed, contact other specialists if they feel there might be further relevant information to enhance the project. 2PM are an excellent company and I would not hesitate to engage them again if we embark on another project.

IQ Glass worked on the Extension in Richmond Park with 2PM Architects as well as a subsequent project. We found them engaging and easy to work with. Their contemporary designs using our minimal windows sliding glass doors were brilliant examples of modern residential design and their design team valued attention to detail to ensure the finished installation was of the highest quality for the home owners. Would happily work with 2PM architects again.
