Fees are all individually quoted for on a per job basis after viewing the site & listening to the clients aims & ambitions using our initial site meeting service or property potential report service which is a paid for service. We can provide a mix of hourly rates, fixed fees or percentage price fees. Most of our work is on a fixed fee arrangement. We do not quote over the telephone or shoot from the hip regarding fee proposals based on loose descriptions of the works.

We requested Chris for the initial site visit service and we found him very professional, of excellent value and very impressive with his wealth of knowledge in planning rules, design etc. He was very engaging and a good listener and also advised positively on the plans we proposed and provided recommendations and suggestions with an approximate estimate which gives us a good confidence before committing to the purchase of the property. He emailed the report the same evening with all the details to proceed to the next phase of the project which was very impressive too. He also addressed any further concerns I had on the property or advised on the actions to be taken to address them & always responded to email queries. I will highly recommend Chris and look forward to his service in the subsequent phase of the project.

Having previously made use of Chris Hunt's 'Initial Site Visit' service when we were seeking advice as to how to respond to a nearby contentious planning application, we had no hesitation in doing so again now that we and our neighbours are jointly considering extensive renovations and extension of our pair of semi-detached houses overlooking the AONB above Bourne End. Of the four quite different professionals that we have had initial site meetings with - two RIBA architects, two CATs - he took the most time and trouble to clearly understand our objectives, and gave us the most comprehensive and constructive advice and guidance, plus clearly and fully explained fee proposals covering all stages of our likely project. If we go ahead with our project, we shall certainly be talking to Chris Hunt again.

Having found ourselves in quite a unique situation concerning planning permission and planning applications; plus being disappointed by other professionals who were reluctant to help; we was absolutely delighted when we met Chris. We worked with Chis Hunt to create drawings to take us through the planning process for a large extension - converting a cottage to a much larger 4 bedroom house. Chris' knowledge is really in-depth and he has a clear understanding of how to negotiate the planning department at our local Council. He was very clear in pointing out what was and wasn't possible. He's also been patient, very responsive and efficient. I'd recommend Chris particularly if you have an awkward planning issue to work through as his knowledge base is vast. Would happily recommend.

I am looking to add a single story extension to the back of our property and came across The Christopher Hunt Practice on line. I contacted Christopher he quickly organised an on site meeting within 2 days which was very impressive. During the meeting he assessed our property and gave honest feedback, was really good at managing expectations from the start and was very clear and concise. The feasibility report and fee estimate was sent later on that same day which gave a detailed outline of points covered within our initial meeting including pricing estimates and time frames. Overall I found Christopher very knowledgeable, friendly, easy going, honest and trustworthy. Would highly recommend.
