About Us

John Pidgeon's long family history in the bathroom industry stretches back over five generations to his great-great-grandfather who started a business in King's Road, Chelsea in 1876. He formed Humpherson & Co. with his son, who went on to design 'The Original Pedestal Washdown Closet' (WC), that in 1885 received the Sanitary Institute of Great Britain's Certificate of Merit. Today, AJP Bathrooms has an impressive showroom in Kingston offering a wide variety of traditional and modern bathroom products for residential and commercial properties. AJP Bathrooms also offer a full bathroom design service tailored to individual requirements and budgets. I bought my bathroom items from AJP. one item was ordered wrong and they kindly offered to pick it up from my home. Since then, not only have I not had my money refunded but they have also stopped replying to my emails, completely ignoring my emails and questions.

We are long established main contractors and have been using AJP now for 5 years. John the owner has unrivalled knowledge in the bathroom field as the finally has been in the bathroom biz for over a century. Their service and advice is as good as you can get and we have been doing this for many years. Highly recommend to either builders or the direct consumer. Rare personal service in the age of the internet. Great range of kit too from average to very high end.

AJP bathrooms supply the bathroom fittings and fixtures for all of our projects. We love working with the team! They respond fast to all of our enquiries and always contribute to our projects with their invaluable knowledge of products. They are professional and often able to deal with our clients directly, which complements our services very well. AJP has an access to most luxury bathroom brands but can also supply bathroom on the budget! We highly recommend them!
