From start to finish the whole process of designing and realising our new dream kitchen was made much easier by Vicky and Amol at Kitchen Matters. Our designer, Vicky, was highly professional and quickly came up with an excellent modern design which fully met our needs.
The old kitchen and dining room have been transformed into a state-of-the-art kitchen by our builders and the Leicht units and Siemens appliances we bought from Kitchen Matters. Don't bother trying out other Kitchen Showrooms go straight to the best one around in Milton Keynes. David and Vivienne, Great Brickhill.

The excellent design is both attractive and functional and makes the most of our small kitchen. The installation went smoothly and a fault with one of the appliances was rapidly rectified with a replacement appliance.

We first met Amol at the end of 2018. From our first brief meeting at Kitchen Matters showroom, we were convinced they would do a great job.
There was no up-selling and in fact quite the opposite. Amol then designed a superb kitchen, even better than we had dreamed of. It had everything we needed. Space, appliance station and a breakfast table built in. It was / is simply superb.
Amol managed our expectations throughout and he did a site visit very early on to ensure to the underfloor extraction flue pipe was laid in the correct place. Our builder commented that he had never seen some come out to oversee that. Normally builders are given measurements and install it themselves. That was the level of the attention to detail the Amol went to.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Amol and his team at Kitchen Matters.

We are delighted with our Leicht kitchen, utility and bedroom kitchen, designed and supplied by Kitchen Matters. They worked with us to meet our programme and enabled us to spread the cost over 3 stages which really helped with our cash flow. The quality of the product is excellent with many features which make it extra special. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful kitchen and Kitchen Matters made it happen for us.

We chose KitchenMatters for the design & installation of a kitchen for a major refurb & extension project after speaking with 10(!) kitchen companies. They offered an excellent product at a fair price, worked with us to create a stylish and practical space, and offered candid opinions throughout the design phase.
They were flexible with the design as the extension was built, offering excellent technical advice and customer service, and working well with other contractors. Finally, the installation was carried out on time, without fuss and to a high standard, with the inevitable minor problems reported honestly and addressed proactively & quickly.
In short, KitchenMatters' product, design, attitude, knowledge, customer support and installation were all first rate, and I would recommend them without hesitation.

We first visited Amol @ Kitchen Matters some 3 years ago when we started to plan our kitchen extension. Track forward 2 years to when we actually started our extension and based on the positive experience we had before we returned. One again Amol did not disappoint and from our initial discussions came up with a design that was exactly what we were looking for.
Thankfully unlike the builders of our extension the service from Amol and his team from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. We needed to delay the delivery of our kitchen by 26 weeks (!) not a problem and it was kept in storage for us. A member of Amol's team recommended a good light shop nearby that we eventually bought our island pendants from; additionally we sourced our bar stools from a high quality manufacturer on Amol's recommendation (Caligaris).
My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend Amol and the Kitchen Matters team.

When purchasing a new kitchen, it should be an exciting time. It will, for most people, be one of the most expensive purchases made and whilst most will accept it will have its challenges through the build, these can be minimised through good communications throughout. The measure of a good company is not by the mistakes made, but how they resolve them. Unfortunately our experience with Kitchen Matters doesn’t reflect other people’s reviews here.
The experience started positively enough, the design stage was handled by Simon Cull. He was helpful and proactive, assisting and responding efficiently. We had gone out to a number of Kitchen Companies that sell Leicht Kitchens, and whilst Kitchen Matters were the most expensive, we really enjoyed dealing with Simon and felt that the difference in costs were justified to work with a designer we could trust. This all changed once we had placed an order and the project was transferred to Amol for the build stage.
The main issue came on the day the kitchen was due to be fitted. The utility room dimensions were incorrect, mistakes can happen, but smaller units were required to fit within the space. Amol decided, without any discussion, that he would leave the utility room for 4-6 weeks whilst the replacement units came from Germany. We explained that this would leave us with no means of drinkable water (a water softener had just been fitted) for our young family as the kitchen was being templated. Amol was adamant that to fit the utility room piecemeal would create issues with the build and should not be carried out in this way (I’d already spoken to his kitchen fitter who didn’t see any issues doing this and he had also suggested the same). After a few e-mail exchanges with Amol, it was the kitchen fitter who told me that they would fit as much of the utility room as possible as originally requested. Our builder had to fit a temporary tap in the kitchen so we had water available – Kitchen Matters didn’t see this as their issue or offer any solution.
The kitchen and utility were eventually finished a month later than planned. The standard of the finish, as you would expect with Leicht, was exceptional, and the Kitchen fitters were very professional. The situation would have been a lot worse if it wasn’t for them.
When the final invoice arrived for the outstanding balance, I queried the remaining value. The invoice included for significantly larger units and associated worktop, even though smaller units had been fitted. I questioned why we were being charged for goods not received and the invoice should be amended to reflect the units installed. Amol’s response was that the marginal difference between the units was probably about £100-£125 and that they work on the basis that these jobs work in swings and roundabouts. And that it would be in everyone’s interest that the final outstanding balance was settled. Amol advised if I wanted to see the build-up he would provide it. Once this had been demonstrated, I would pay outstanding amount. 1 year on this has still not been provided despite a number of (ongoing) requests.
Unsurprisingly, Amol now ignores any e-mails to try and resolve the outstanding issues which have been sent over the last year. Kitchen Matters have failed to carry out any defective work during the warranty period or rectify our issues. Most concerning, is that the induction hob supplied has had several faults, the latest error message being that it needs to be disconnected from the electrics. Amol has been advised of this, but still refuses to reply and is quite happy to leave a family with a potentially dangerous hob. Kitchen Matters will undoubtably defend their position by claiming we were either a difficult customer, a disgruntled ex-employee or work for a rival kitchen company (and yes, it will be on multiple review sites) but should anyone wish to see the e-mail communications (all documented over 12 months) I’d be happy to share them.
Leicht make beautiful kitchens, there is no question about that, and I’m sure others have had a positive experiences with Kitchen Matters, but when things don’t go to plan, and when you need the a company to do everything they can to make a difficult situation bearable, their only interest is in self-preservation and saving a few pounds.

Great experience with fantastic results! We are so pleased with our new kitchen, it is beautiful. Amol made everything happen and the whole process was faultless. As we needed some structural work to be done, a builder was even recommended who helped get everything ready for the kitchen to be fitted, he was also excellent, would highly recommend Kitchen Matters.

Amol and his team provided us with a first class service from start to finish. They worked proactively with us on designs for our new kitchen and utility room, maximising the use of our space and helping us choose from myriad styles, colours, materials and appliances.
Installation was excellent, Ryan is highly skilled and was able to make adjustments to fit the units following some minor changes made to our rooms by our builders. He also took great care to ensure a perfect finish.
We would not hesitate to recommend Kitchen Matters to anyone looking for a new kitchen and/or utility room.

I have to say what a class act Amol and the whole team at kitchen matters are. Right from initial inquiry through to completion they have all been amazing. The design of the kitchen is excellent and even the bespoke colour we had has come out even better then expected. It truly is the heart of our home. Highly recommended and we will certainly be back on any future projects that be do..

Our search for our dream kitchen (including utility) started 12 months before installation. We were extending the kitchen so had a blank canvas to work from and had to make sure we got it right.
Endless hours were spent at many kitchen suppliers and designers which were all given the same brief but none of the ideas or designs they came up with gave me excitement - but the quotes nearly gave me a heart attack - despite being more lower end German kitchen brands or no brand at all! They were all mediocre and I had to keep compromising on something which I didn't want to do. I came across Kitchen Matters and decided to pop in to the showroom - wow! As soon as you walk in, you know these are the people you want to design your kitchen but I thought a Leicht kitchen within our budget, it's not going to work but thought I'd try anyway. We arranged a meeting so we could discuss likes, dislikes and must haves. Amol asked who uses the kitchen when, how and how much involvement there is from others in the household. He wanted to get a feel for how the hub of the house was used before he designed something.
A week later, we went to see the initial design and we were completely blown away. It was more that what we had envisaged and the 3D CAD drawings were incredible. We'd given him the same budget as we had given others and he absolutely delivered. We were extremely surprised that many extras such as a boiling water tap (a must have by the way) mirror splashback and top of the range worktop was included in the quote. It wasn't what we had asked for but somehow, Amol managed to have these included. Every detail had been thought of - even what way the refrigerator door should open and where the piano should be positioned as this was a big thing for us. His attention to detail is second to none.
We had major setbacks with our home improvements project and Amol was extremely accommodating and reassured us that it happens with build projects and for us not to worry and that they would work around us. A few minor changes were made by us but nothing was a problem for Amol and his team.
Finally a year on and it was time to install the kitchen. Everyone arrived on time and the fitters were absolutely incredible - polite, knowledgeable and tidy. Our builders had made a few errors with the boxing of the steel lintel despite being given Amol's drawings and measurements but the fitters were not willing to compromise the overall design of the kitchen by adding filler panels like the builder had suggested. They thankfully stood their ground and were not willing to cut corners, so we could end up with the kitchen we were promised we would get - thank you.
Anyone that walks in to our kitchen is always taken aback with how beautiful it is but more importantly, it works for our family. Contemporary, sleek lines, great design yet extremely functional. A kitchen design should work around you, you shouldn't have to work around the kitchen and this is what Amol and his team do.
Thank you Amol for your exceptionally professional service. Every penny has been worth it and I would recommend Kitchen Matters to anyone who wants a great design with no compromise.

I accidentally came across Kitchen Matters as I popped in for inspiration. I was talking to other kitchen companies and had not been inclined to proceed with any of them. I was really impressed with the showroom and Amol gave me his card. I knew I had to contact Amol again as the other companies design did not really motivate to proceed. When we spent the time with Amol, he listened to what we wanted a took a completely consultative approach. He came up with completely different ideas and used his expertise to put forward a unique design that his very high quality and really works. All the other companies offerings were then off the table as we could see that his experience in designing kitchens was worth investing in.
We comment every day on how everything is such high quality including all the appliances. I had no prior experience of using Kitchen Matters but was so pleased that I found Amol as I would heartily recommend anyone wanting a high quality kitchen.
