Martyn was a joy to work with. He has creative ideas to help with you with your projects. He is reliable, thorough and tidy. A perfectionist. Very happy with his work, so much so that I have gone back to him time after time.

We initially hired Martyn when he provided a very competitive quote to replace a couple of doors and windows. We were so impressed that we then commissioned him to make a kitchen island unit. We had a good idea of what we wanted, but Martyn didn't hesitate to suggest changes that improved the overall design. His attention to detail and craftsmanship were superb and, moreover, his calm and professional manner made him a joy to deal with - something we don't say lightly after months of having builders underfoot! I've no doubt that we will be using him again ......... unless these reviews attract too much other work for him. Maybe we should just keep quiet about how good he is?!

Martyn has rebuilt the stairs and banisters in our rather wonky 18th century house. He has created a lovely staircase that had some awkward challenges. He is a tidy craftsperson, taking time to make sure that any materials and tools are stored away wherever possible. Martyn did a beautiful job of laying an engineered wood floor in a herringbone configuration in our kitchen. His experience and attention to detail really shows.

Martyn Bargh Joinery was selected to build my extension, fit a brand new kitchen and add a bathroom and extra room upstairs. The service is absolutely amazing and could not be better in shape or form. Martyn is very punctual, committed to outstanding standards and has a true talent for perfection and quality. He knows exactly how long it will take and he sticks to it. He is a very approachable person, will always listen to your ideas and questions and will always keep you up to date. I will never use anyone else!

Martyn advised me on, and built, a superb set of oak-veneered shelves for an alcove in my living room/dining room. The shelves are distinct, attractive, strong and show off well books, ornaments and record albums ( yes I'm that old!) Martyn was quick to respond to my initial query, came to my house at agreed times and completed the work at an agreed date. He completed most of the work in his own workshop which meant minimal disruption to me at home. The cost was very reasonable and he was professional throughout I have no hesitation in recommending Martyn and I intend in bringing him back at some point next year for work I'm planning in my kitchen

I have known Martyn Bargh for some time, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for joinery work. The most recent work he has done for me is as part of a project to refurbish the hall stairs and landing. The main part of his work was to fit a new laminate floor to the hallway, and to fit a new bannister. He also enlarged the loft hatch access, fit a new loft hatch door and surrounding architrave, fit new skirting boards to the hallway and understairs WC, built a bespoke "boxing in" cupboard to hide the toilet waste piping whilst allowing access for maintenance. Martyn Bargh is very good at what he does. He has a professional manner, produces good work and can provide bespoke solutions. He is polite and trustworthy.

Martyn is a real gem find, his work is of the highest standard as well as his attitude and dedication. Martyn is a perfectionist and his attention to detail and superb craftsmanship is the reason I will keep using his services. Martyn is very knowledgeable in all aspects of building work, no job too big or small and also reasonably priced. Martyn is a joy to have around, very pleasant and personable and always willing to help. I would highly recommend Martyn as "the only" builder you would ever need!. Just be prepared with the kettle!.
