Nomad Design makes and sells homewares and accessories using extraordinary artisan textiles. These are sourced from West Africa and Central Asia. Founder, Georgina Olley, established Nomad Design in 2015. The beauty of artisan textiles transfixed her and in this day and age of mass production and fast fashion she wanted to start a movement that celebrate the artisans' skills and work. I specialise in working with Interior Design industry and I have worked closely with Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, Studio Duggan, Sian Parry Jones Honky Design, Todhunter Earle Interiors and many more. The current collections comprise of a meticulously curated selection of homewares such as handwoven Mudcloths from Mali and silk Ikats from Central Asia. These textiles are transformed by hand into cushions and lampshades. They make beautiful complements to every interior and lifestyle. Georgina's passion for hand making, culture and geometric patterns are core parts of Nomad Design's ethos. "To me provenance is paramount, culturally and environmentally.
