We spend most of our time on domestic and estate buildings and landscapes for private clients. This includes new houses, extensions and alterations to existing buildings, the conservation of historic buildings, annexes, pool houses and swimming pools, orangeries and follies. Our approach to design and specification is particularly sympathetic to historic buildings and landscapes. All our clients want to create something special, something bespoke and are prepared to put time and effort into the process. We respond to their aspirations, to the setting – the natural, built and historical environments – and add our own little spark. There are certain core values that should go without saying: sustainable design, high quality, carefully considered designs, value for money. These values would find their way into most lists, unfortunately with variable outcomes, hence our reluctance to rely on them.
