Seymour-Smith Architects were given the brief to convert an old, disused barn in the Cotswolds into a slick, modern home. Numerous obstacles faced them including, but not limited to: planning issues and building regulations (namely doorway heights). Seymour-Smith's solutions were innovative and sensitive to the original structure. With two clients providing the brief (each with quite different ideas), consultation proved key and both clients were extremely happy with the process and, importantly, the final product. If you don't know what you want - or even if you do - I cannot recommend Seymour-Smith Architects enough. They're full of great ideas (if you want them) and actually listen to what you want.
