After two years of little to no interest in the house we were selling, wee needed to give it an updated look without spending a fortune. Amanda Alligood was recommended to us for consultation as to what to do without rebuilding; She went through the house with my husband and the contractor noting colors for walls, changing dated looks like paneling, changing the color of the outside front door and shutters, suggesting where to put planters and where to plant flowers for eye appeal and updating the kitchen by replacing dated refrigerator with a new one and painting the kitchen cabinets to look more updated. New patio furniture and new ceiling in in law suite The transformation was unbelievable. We went from hardly any interest in the house to two offers made the first week it was on the market. The settlement went through and we are now using Amanda once again to guide us on getting our "new" old house to have a more updated look. We can't say enough good things about her talent. She is the "Fairy Godmother" to Cinderella houses.

Amanda Alligood from Flower Creations has done a superb job in choosing all the colors that will decorate our new home in Center Philly. She was the interior designer for the model house of a development of ten houses, one of which my husband and I now proudly own. The model house is so beautiful that many of the buyers opted for keeping the same finishes and colors- all selected by Amanda. She helped me choose colors for backsplash, kitchen and bathroom countertops, walls, flooring, and powder coating for the stairs railings. We did all of this in 5 hours. She has a keen eye for symmetry, functionality, and of course color! Amanda helped me pick beautiful shades and accents for my new home. She was always quick to address in detail every question, every color, every time, and she was also very gracious when I changed my mind on the wall colors I had initially chosen. I just love the new colors that will adorn my new home. It was a pleasure working with Amanda. She made pleasant and friendly a process that could have otherwise been very stressful. The house will be completed by the end of next month, and I expect it to look fabulous!!

Amanda selected a wonderful palette of finishes (hardwood floors, bath floor and wall tiles, vestibule floor tile, interior & exterior lighting) for the model home of a center city townhouse project that I designed. We sat down with the builder and the realtor and democratically selected all the finishes. The realtor sold the five built townhouses in three weeks at more than the list price of $675k. The buzz has been tremendous. The finishes are a great compliment to the architecture.
