Hi Gina,

Thank you so much! I'm afraid this is unlikely to help you as this is not actually a wall. It's a mature leylandii hedge within which we have built a scaffold frame to support the picture frames. If you want some solid cover that will grow fast. you could try an ivy species. This would need to be kept under control however and the suckers from the stems do work their way into the brickwork so maybe not if it is a wall you share with a neighbour. A less aggressive evergreen climber would be Trachelospernum jasminoides. This would need supporting on the wall so would be safe in terms of the brickwork but would be a slower grower and you'd need to keep it clipped in order to ensure dense coverage. Another solution would of course be to put a hedge in front of the wall. you could then use the wall to support picture frames/lights etc. If this was your solution though, I would not recommend leylandii since it does not grow back when it dies back and so putting objects in front (such as picture frames!) causes bare patches (we have to rotate the ones in the picture to ensure adequate light reaches the hedge behind!). I would instead suggest a Yew or maybe Privet. Hope that answers your question and gives you a bit of direction!

We had the swan neck stand made bespoke by one of our metal work fabricators. It's a length of galvanised stainless steel metal tube, powder coated black built to the size we needed. We concreted a post into the ground and attached the arm to it with adjustable fixings so it could be swung around and locked into the desired position. The tube is hollow so we could run the cable through it and had a hook attached to the end to hang the chandelier.

Possibly....

A very large home was built next to us and we now have absolutely zero privacy.

This was so lovely, I thought something like it could work for us.

There's a number of ways to help improve your privacy and better screen the new build next door. I'd be happy to discuss The Gallery Garden idea or other suitable solutions if you thought it would be useful? Feel free to get in touch directly if we can be of any further help. Have a great weekend.

We used steel edging that's powder coated black which is bedded into the ground. It can be bent into shape or used for crisp straight lines and keeps gravel and lawn separate for a clean finish. It also makes mowing easier as there is a defined edge to go to.

Many thanks, glad you like it.

We made the table and stalls bespoke on site as part of the design. We used a hardwood for the finish with a timber frame inside.

The end of the long bench makes up part of the water feature with a blade that drops down into a reflection pool.

The stalls were built with wheels and springs hidden inside their frames so they can be easily moved and lock into place when you sit on them. The outdoor cushions on top were also made bespoke.

With a decent drawing in place a good furniture maker or carpenter should be able to build something similar.

Feel free to get in touch again if I can help any further. All the best

Many thanks for your comment. The drive was laid with a resin bound gravel. The gravel is held together with an adhesive so you get a lovely smooth finish on top and is permeable to allow water to drain through.
