POLL: Do you sleep with the blinds open or closed?
Comments (19)unless I can live where people can't see into my room (Ok I do have a pretty voile but I have very nosey neighbours - and noisy - so the blind comes down, the voile is there and then there is a double thickness with blackout and heat/cool lining curtains! Possibly over the top - or not... I get migraines which means total darkness and silence for at least 10 hours - impossible to do with just the blinds or voile!...See MoreHELP...I've been looking for the right curtains for almost a year!
Comments (30)Hello Ffion. As it was already mentioned above it is not recommendable to sleep with a window behind your head. Can you upload some more pictures of your bedroom? Just to have an idea how it is organised. I believe there is always solution ;). You can believe or not but your sleeping problems may be caused more by the placement of your bed then street lights. It is all about the energy flow in your room \ Marcin...See MorePOLL: What interrupts your sleep in your bedroom?
Comments (8)Although we live in a quiet lane we have neighbours who have installed PIR security lighting. They have a cat...which goes in and out of the cat flap regularly during the night. Each time their security light illuminates our bedroom, despite have installed blackout linings. If only people would ensure the light spread is downwards instead of everywhere.....or maybe they expect burglars from space!...See MoreBest colour curtains
Comments (6)Hi Charlotte, I would go for a more neutral colour, i.e a light grey or an off white, as these colours are very versatile and look great with almost any wall colour. Have you also considered blackout roman blinds, as these are a cheaper alternative to blackout curtains but offer the same premium feel. I've attached a couple of blinds below that I feel would suit the room you have described perfectly. https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/speckle-cotton-ball.html https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/rustic-weave-white.html The great thing is, you can order as many free samples of our blinds as you like, so you can make sure that you get the colour spot on. here's our full range of blackout roman blinds https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/blackout-blinds/blackout-roman-blinds/ I hope this helped, and good luck with your decorating!...See Morecapeanner
