Need help with colour scheme for a bedroom

Hello, I need help please! I have purchased a set of second hand furniture in light (maple) wood from Boconcept which is absolutely beautiful: a double bed frame, headboard, 2 bedsides, tall slim chest , 2 double chests joined and open display unit shelves (see picture 1). Our bedroom is long, with one window and has an en-suite and large walk-in wardrobe both with windows. Originally I had planned a colour scheme of greige, picture 2 shows the colours and textures I love.
But I am now very hesitant. Would this colour scheme go with maple furniture? We would like wood flooring, should we go for light or dark? I am even considering painting the furniture but I know it is a long and difficult job and may be a shame for such beautiful items. I read quite a few websites advising to combine maple and blue, unfortunately I don't like it. The key word for the bedroom is cosy. Your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

I agree with you, the blue they've got in the advert doesn't look so great. It's definitely not cozy either!

Maple tends to have both gold and pink tones, and so goes wonderfully well with all shades of orange. How about a pale wood floor with apricot and ivory tones? You have some good ivory colours in your second picture.

I would start with choosing a rug you liked, I've uploaded a picture of one I would choose which would go well as a starting point, but there are lots to choose from. That would make a very cozy room and fit beautifully with the furniture.

Go with the greige theme there are so many silver/grey handles on the furniture that it will help to tie it in. You have your heart set on that colour scheme so go for it!! Texture is the key to pulling off a bedroom so pay close attention to the accessories, lamps, throws, cushions. If you really don't like the furniture after the decorating is done then paint the furniture. Best of luck with it!!

I love some lusciousness in my bedroom ... reds. pinks and oranges! (yes I also have lighter softer colours but like some fun thrown it too otherwise feels so boring). Am surprised that pink wasn't one of the choices! People talk a lot about serenity and seem to forget about other types of energy in the bedroom. It is said that the bedroom is mainly for 2 things both beginning with "S" and yet most people seem to only focus on the sleep bit.

Farrow & Ball Elephant's Breath seems to be a popular choice. And you can easily warm up the room by adding soft furnishings and accessories in warmer shades. Grey and copper and rose gold mixes really nicely creating a cosy feel. I guess it depends how you want your room to feel but if you want an ice cream sundae vibe you could pair it with baby pink. For a vibrant contrast you could add coral and oranges. Or for a more relaxing contrast beige and creams. I hope this helps and if you are still not sure it might be worth looking for online inspiration. Good luck!

I think the maple could work with stone colour palette. You need to think warm colour tones here. Avoid grey. Remember when building the scheme to keep to 2 or 3 colours. Repeat, repeat..create warmth with texture and layers.

I think you should consider neutral tones for the walls and have bold colours for the duvets and cushion.
