Need help with my kitchen please

We have ordered this kitchen but with handles, the worktop will be steel grey granite. What colour should the walls be please. Nothing loud but do need to brighten room up. The colour of the kitchen Units are cubanit, not grey green or brown but in between all those

I can't see a link to the kitchen but a pale blue would work if you don't like bright colours, and want something on trend. Cottage colours I.e warm pastels could work but it depends on the kitchen style I.e contemporary or modern/traditional.

Rich tea biscuits, Gemma? For that kind of help I'd ask for at least some custard creams :)) To answer your query, Nick, I think white tile and grey grout look great. I tried to find a pic with some square tiles but didn't succeed - these days is subway tiles everywhere! How to achieve that... It would be great if Houzz team could find some skilled builders (wink, wink Gemma!) to come spend some time advising people. But I'm afraid all we've got so far are some (more or less) enthusiastic DIY-ers... Anyway, if you have a steady hand, try the grout pen. However, looking at your tile in the photo above, you can see the grout is quite gone, "hiding low" in between the tiles, so you could fill the spaces with grey grout, even if it's just a very thin layer - I think it will look better and last longer. Hi Caro, I have attached two images of wall paper that I think you compliment your kitchen. The green and blues in these wallpapers would harmonise with the existing titles and highlight the height of the room. From your ideas book it seems you like repeat patterns, both of these styles suggest a 60s feel whilst remaining contemporary. As you can see in the second photograph, the pattern and colours sit very well with the dark shiny worktop, similar to the one you mention putting in at a later date. Hi, sorry for such a delayed response but I've been on vacation for 3 weeks. A plain white metro with pale grey grout and pale grey walls would give it an urban but contemporary feel and still keep it light. You could accessorise with a bit of greenery and some black metal or wire containers etc. If you feel this is too plain you could consider a bolder tile behind the hob, perhaps with a geometric print or a combination of geometric prints.
