Giant spiral staircase

We recently purchased an old Georgian property with 2 staircases - one old and one modern (see the photo). Whilst we really like the modern one, it is not required (as there is another staircase at the front of the property). My question is therefore whether anybody knows if there is a second hand market for staircases like this and if so, how much it is likely to fetch? As you can see from the photo, it is gigantic (currently in a room with a ceiling height of approximately 4,5 meters) but should be fairly easy to dismantle.

Comments (11)String vertical tension cables down from white circle above onto the side of each step (drilled through and secured with bolts) and have one that spirals up those vertical cables (linking each). Although not a fan of spiral staircases, this one is a great centrepiece. To emphasise on this great feature, I would put 3 or 5 LED spotlights/downlights within the white circle above that point towards the steps. I think that will look good. If you are more adventurous paint each steps in tones (i.e red, orange, yellow, white or in green or blue hues - depending on your taste of colour of course) or random multi-colour (green, red, orange, blue, yellow and white)....See MoreSpiral Staircase
