kitchen colour - white or cream?

can anyone suggest which might look better or the pros and cons of either colour...

looking at the second nature avant alabaster, or the second nature avant white, both of which are gloss.

both will be with black granite worktops.

any help deciding? will the white be too much?

I wouldn't go for white! I think cream cabinets with a duck egg blue paint and maybe a underplayed sink or big ceramic farm house style sink?

Defiantly white units if your going for black worktops. Black and white it's classic.

Wouldnt say either are the best but there are some lovely colours out there for inframe / shaker style kitchens if your not so into cream. Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area I think a select piece of art would really make a space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Hi Joanne, Questions to ask yourself are Would you like the room to be : - brighter or darker - cosy or fresh - feel larger or smaller - feel warmer or cooler - feel cheery, neutral or moody Also which way is the room orientated north? What are the other colours that are in the rest of the house? If these colours are all cohesive the spaces will link well and the house will feel larger. Interior Designers can offer a colour consultation - this is brief example of some of the factors that should be considered but the full service is best in person as the designer can get the feel for the space and samples can be viewed in the correct light which makes all the difference. I would say black and white is a crisper combination .

White and a lighter top is very popular too, has overtaken the black recently !!

Cream, IMO, is better with warm colour tops,

Ask them to position the handle of the sink base like the DW next to it ie horizontal and central !! And to add a small infill next to the oven housing and the end of the drawers by the sink to ensure the drawers /oven open more easily as they are tight against the walls.

Unless a tv is an absolute must - I'd loose it from that position between the windows as it looks odd - don't most people watch TV on their tablets nowadays anyway ?!

Definitely cream, it's softer. That's what I've done. I'll try to attach a photo FYI. I then chose a sage colour for the feature wall and accessories. I'm not sure how accurate the photos are re the colour.
I think white can be quite stark, cold and clinical... But that's my opinion.
