A single 1m wide slab of Oak was used to create this lovely table. Two coats of lightening finish were used to give a gorgeous Skandi look topped with three coats of our eco-friendly, non-toxic and completely bulletproof hardwax-oil in matt. The minimalist look was completed by the satin black powder-coated trapezoid legs. Habitat has walnut dining tables. Made.com has dark brown wood. Adventure in Furniture has walnut options too. There are loads of tables available on-line. I know because I looked at a gazillion websites searching for one for us! I think it could be hard to get the right shade of 'cream' with an on-line purchase. Might be easier to go with full timber table. Plus I think a dark wood table sounds like it would look nice and not too matchy-matchy. To blend the style of the two rooms (classic and contemporary) - perhaps a table with mid-century, or clean scandi lines? Do you have chairs already?

Hi everyone I am struggling to find some furniture. I am on a budget means(all for less than £2,000, not include chairs) but don’t want to compromise with luxury feeling. Has anyone know where should I look at? 1. luxury 60cm height TV unit for 75” tv. —- little bit of background; anthracite sofa and mustard chair with quite white-ish carpet floor and shinny grey wall and wall hung 75” TV. I already made sockets and cable plate to hide all cables and sockets. However, I made a big mistake that I thought I could find 60cm height luxury style unit but really hard to find one. I am thinking at least 2.5metres long unit, don’t mind two together. But they need to be 60cm tall. I like this type of style below but it is only 40cm tall. 2. Luxury black mahogany table(madison style or other style are all ok) for 3chairs line up each side. Products in Houzz are so lovely but they are too much for me. I love this table,not chairs but it’s too expensive. Many thanks

Yes we laid the new table top on top of our old table but didn’t attach the new legs as we spotted a chip in the table side (packaging was damaged). Unfortunately Mr LTS only took this one photo - what do you think? It was so sunny outside we closed some of the blinds but the sun made the room hazy so I think I need to get the table out again. Typically it isn’t sunny now! My next post will be suggestions for cushions for the sofas!
