Many thanks to everyone! After seeing them again and laying in a right way I decided to keep then. And of course go for Cooacabana with more black in it with wavy pattern (rather than linear). These tiles cost me £17 per sqm and are a bargain for the quality that they are (getting them from abroad). Apart from the pattern they are very white which overall would keep the floor colour white.

I would try a few colours on paper first- personally I think you will find the palest colours make the worktop and floor look dirty and you might be better with a stronger warm neutral such as Farrow and Ball - Cord. Dark colours would also sit well with this worktop and floor. To lighten the effect of a stronger base cabinet consider painting the wall cabinets a lighter shade of the base colour

Hi @Daisy England - potentially, but I didn't want a black or any colour oven so the stainless oven & fridge freezer went better together and looking at it all together - and other projects where people have done the same - I think they all work together somehow. The stainless will be the only chrome/silver metal colours in the room. Lights, radiator fittings, sockets etc will be brass. Thanks for your comment :)

definitely is a natural stone (not porcelain tiles), then it might be onyx, yes
