under stairs storage

I am looking for ideas on how to utilise under stairs area for storage. My house hasnt got any space for hoover, shoes, n lots of stuff. Is it best to cover or keep space open

Enclose the space. Add shelving and store boxes or bins on them.

Hi. More photos of your room will help people give you tips on style, but I would definitely go for fitted units made by a carpenter who can make exactly what you need, perfectly designed for the space. Hello, It depends what is your budget! Do you need DIY ideas in how to store your stuff? The one I have in my house (will be the first image) it can be a bit inefficient but I try to store everything in a box so it won't get messy. Alternatively you can think of built in shelving system. I knew it's a while ago post, but wonder what company in Ireland supply flat pack under stairs solution? We've tried "clever closet" ,from London, but. " We do flat pack,but your measurements didn't allow that. So we have to supply& fit. Ouch,you in Scotland?) We don't have fitters there. Sorry" so any info for DIY flat pack under stairs will be much appreciated.
