Who make this kind of style French sliding door?

Hello, I saw this picture online and wonder anyone knows whether they make it here in the UK? It is an external french sliding door Georgian style

Hi there, we produced some bespoke aluminium sliding doors, Georgian style recently here @ SLS fabrications designed by SBG (stainless brass & glass) based in the south.

Hi Justin, thank you for taking the time to reply to our query. It is difficult to compare systems because Deceuninck have not published very much technical information about that specific product on their website, but whilst in general terms uPVC may be able to perform fractionally better for U-values than aluminium (it depends on the system), our experience is that with slide and swing doors the weather rating (water tightness, air permeability and wind loading) tend to be much lower. I would also query the information you were given about security. The reason I say that is I cannot find any reference to their slide & swing doors having been tested to PAS24 standards (Building Regs Doc Q) or Secured by Design award standards. The technology of slide and swing doors is developing quickly, but it is starting from nearly 25 years behind bifold doors so will take some time to catch up - that said they are moving along quickly and in certain circumstances offer an alternative to bifold doors. I had hardwood bi-folds fitted last year and it took me ages to decide what to get. The reason I finally chose bi-folds was I use all my garden doors several times a day even in the winter and just opening the one section is easy and folds back neatly and doesn’t catch the wind as easily. There also have magnetic catches. And opening three sections is very neat and gives the biggest opening. However these openings are only two metres wide. Where I have a 2.4 opening I’ve got French windows and the 60cm doors fold back and hook onto the side windows well. Tbh bi-folds aren’t my favourite but they best suited the openings.

I think you will find some of the bespoke glazing option will exceed the cost of making the opening bigger. I would expect the labour for a wider opening, plus installation of off the shelf doors, plus making good plus council fees to be around £3k. If that is within your budget I would do that.
