Kitchen - the finishing touch
Comments (1)Yes I prefer the flat pale grey tile. Have you thought about white travertine mosaics the rectangular ones as they aren't really white and could work really well as you have modern units with traditional aspects on the cooker & work tops. Alternatively a glass splash back all the way round in a pale grey. Also Laura Ashley does a nice pale french grey rectangular tile which I think is on offer at the moment in Homebase. They do an off white and you could mix the colours. They are the traditional non bevelled shiny ceramic type which would be very nice against the cranberry....See MoreKitchen - the finishing touch

Comments (18)Hi we would move the fridge to the right if possible against the wall putting the hoover etc in between fridge and washing machine. Then get a blind which you could hang from the ceiling to pull down over the fronts of the washing machine, tumble dryer and cleaning items so can be kept down whilst not using. Leaving only the fridge door exposed? so looks tidy in maybe a grey could try ikea too? Maybe paint all walls a very pale grey ammonite colour from Farrow and Ball. Keep accessories to a minimum display chopping boards with marble i.e. anthropology and white storage containers. Some succulent plants on your kitchen window sill very on trend. I would put a simple white radiator cover from B & Q over radiator use for putting picture frames on. Your lovely barcelona chair and matching stool calling out for a grey sheep skin throw. Good luck love to see it when its done....See MoreKitchen colours & finishing touches - help

So now we need to decide on paint colours, and I agree with the suggestions of the dark grey on the opposite wall to match the island. But I'm not sure what to do with the rest of the walls. Any thoughts? What would you do?...See Moremuttleyz
