Best use of L shaped garden advise please
Comments (6)Yes we are definitely keeping the window/access to the bedroom in according to the code. Thanks 'One Plan' we hadn't thought about keeping the door by the bedroom and just run it allow the whole of the side. The double doors would be a great way to keep light into the lounge especially as it is south facing as well. What do you think to bi-folding doors in the lounge or just large bay window? We want to keep it fairly Victorian with some more timely features, so leaning away from bi-folding doors but think it's such a fantastic way to open up the garden space?...See MorePlease advise on layout options
Comments (12)Thanks both - greatly appreciated. Like both your thinking. But think we're possibly leaning more towards kitchen in middle of house - one because of light issues, but two because of 'zoning', having a clear kitchen area seems more 'tidy' somehow. And might work better in terms of kitchen layout. Still not 100% sure though! Any further comments appreciated!...See MoreOpinions please on colour choice for floor
Comments (9)Thanks guys, appreciated and so helpful! At first I loved the darkest one but I think I'm actually leaning to keep it natural and use a 'raw' oil that won't leave it with the wet look. We have quite dark furniture with dark wood walnut tone coffee table/dining table so I'm thinking maybe best to keep it light - although so tempted to darken it down to the lightest one. Oh goodness, still don't know!! Luckily sanders advised we could sand down the bits they've sample oiled so natural is still an option :)...See Moreplease help with paint & decorating opinions?
Comments (15)Thank you for your comment at @minnie101. I was pushing to get it painted before the sofas arrive but now you have got me thinking. Here are some pictures of the samples on the wall. The darkest is the f&b Hague blue. It is far darker than I want for the room. I’m thinking more calming minimalistic boho. Lots of plants and wood. I hate this room and really need help with it. I actually really like oval room blue too but thinking it won’t be dark or strong enough for a feature wall? Also looking for a tv unit don’t know whether to go dark oak mango or white and oak mixed. There is white furniture with wicker and a dark walnut chest that need to be worked in. First pic is morning last one is 8pm. I’m thinking that the stiffkey is my current favourite, I keep changing my mind whether I like the inchrya......See MoreElena
