greys mustard combination

I have rich rust mahogany sofa and chair. At present I have a mustard painted fireplace wall. Would a grey feature wall with the palest of greys on the rest of the walls work?

Thank you so much for response. I have already posted a photo of my living room on this site, at the moment it is ready to be painted. However in order for you to have a quick look at the photo do I need to upload it again? It comes under the heading Rust coloured leather suite what colour compliments it.

The console was going to go from the left of the pillar to the end of the wall. The other option is to end it exactly where the sofa arm ends but then I have to rely on the kids not jumping on the sofa and pushing it around (which is a bit of an ask...) Alternatively I could continue it on the left hand side of the pillar almost up to the window. Then it would run all the way along the back of the sofa. Joiner is coming tomorrow and so I need to decide really. Plant in the corner is an idea, I hadn't thought of that. At the moment I just have a basket of throws. Yes I am keen to see the paint on the exterior walls. I hope it was the right decision. I'll post a photo on that thread as soon as a section is done.

Mustard and grey are a great combination. A navy / denim blue accent would also go well.... if you didn't have the striking wardrobes I would have suggested painting the wall behind your bed navy - that will really make your gorgeous mustard bed pop. The wardrobes look shiny so i'd worry about how easy it would be to get a high quality finish if you painted them. Maybe wait until you can afford to replace them. I've attached some ideabook pics that should work with what you've got now. Hopefully someone on here will have done something similar before so can give you some proper advice!
