Thoughts please:Blinds for these windows and doors?
Comments (61)We get asked this question a lot, and that is why we sell integrated or integral blinds which are totally enclosed within the glass cavity of the double glazed unit, and are available for most of the doors and windows we sell. They can be manually or electrically operated, are available in a range of colours, and have Venetian or pleated versions. They can be closed for complete privacy, opened to any angle for different shading or raised up almost completely out of the way. Aside from enclosing all the working parts (safe for toddlers), they enhance the thermal efficiency of the unit they are enclosed within and will never need cleaning! You can upgrade existing doors and windows, although if you are purchasing new, ask your supplier about Uni-blinds Integral Blinds beforehand....See MoreTed Baker Bedding...what should i put at the window for curtains/blind
Comments (8)Hi, As already suggested, full length curtains would be lovely and add to the romantic feel you're already creating with that lovely bedding. You could choose a combination of voile curtains and fully lined blackout ones to give you a flexible approach to light and privacy control. I've attached a picture of how they look layered. I think I'd probably pick one colour out and go for a plain curtain that matches that, to let your bedding do the talking! Comments (10)Hi, This is a really fantastic floorplan for ideas as its almost a blank canvas. Here is a quick design that I came up with. I thought you might want a proper entrance hall so that you don’t enter the whole space immediately. As you come through the kitchen is now on the left with living room open to it but partly screened with a central fireplace (the chimney might have to be cleverly routed through the ceiling or the fire could be electric). Then at the back of the house you have a large dining area and and enclosed lounge. I think some folding doors or more glazing at the back with a raised patio or decking would also make this dining room more of a feature! Please let me know what you think? I have a few more alternative ideas as well. And I wish you all the best with your project!! Phill...See Moreannie12557
