Wall colour to go with cream kitchen
Comments (29)Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area I think a select piece of art would really make a space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Please check out my website if like the idea and please get in contact, commission work is also welcomed so if you like a particular style I can do in a select colour palette and size but with this it can only be done as a original piece and not a print.....but all prints i can do to the same size or smaller than my original paintings, so lots of options. www.GuigsART.co.uk...See MoreWhat colour should I paint my kitchen?!
Comments (19)It sounds like you have plenty of natural light coming in so should be fine with most things. I think the blue all over would be a little too much with north light - making it feel a little cool. I would go with the suggested half and half which will also lift the height a making it feel more open. With the blue itself I would try to go for something with as warm an undertone as possible.. same with any whites you choose. If they have blue or grey undertones they will feel a look more drab with the specific light that's hitting them. It sounds like you're going to have a fab space! :)...See MoreHelp...what wall and carpet colour should I choose?
Comments (15)I’m no colour expert, but I feel a stair carpet like your first pic is very neutral and won’t clash. Ive seen rooms that mix cream, grey and beige and they just look lovely. The dark staircase will add another dimension but still quite neutral. Your staircase is so beautiful it really doesn’t need too much of a change, Skimming Stone is a lovely grey/beige. I would get match pots of the colours you like, paint them on A4, or larger, card and try them in various places and see what you think, paint colours can really change depending on aspect and light. If you can get some carpet samples too you can create a mood board so you can really get an idea of the look. The pics below show how lovely grey, beige and black/grey/brown can look together. Not sure if this is your thing?...See MoreWhat colour should I paint my kitchen presses , island and walls ?
Comments (3)Hi, what will be on the floor? Definitely get samples of the colours you like first, paint some large pieces of cardboard with it and look at them in the light of your actual kitchen. This is Purbeck Stone with Mole's Breath You could paint the walls Ammonite, Cornforth White or Wevet. I'd go for a light coloured Quartz worktop, but again, I would look at samples and hold them together with your chosen paint colours....See Morejacksplash
