I have use updated my living room and need help with colours

I was going to change the sofas but got them recovered cream so got some new cushion covers grey and grey check, new grey curtains. I need to get a new mat and i am looking at colour as i want to change the paint colour to grey also i am afraid it is looking too dull at the moment i thought about moving the mirror to the wall facing the window and getting new modern artwork over the fireplace with bright primary colours. I look forward to your comments.
