help with paint and tile colour

We are currently putting in a new kitchen - howdens burford grey. I have some off white/cream metro tiles and was thinking o of whimborne white paint for walls. I have a sample of the raspberry elephant stripe material for a Roman blind and thin curtains for the patio windows in the dining area.

I'm not sure the tiles highlight the grey - it seems to make it look duller.

I have a sample of raspberry glass tile, as a possibility to get a whole piece of glass as a hob splashback to bring in an accent colour.

Any thoughts would be great!

Hi there! I like the tiles! May be your temptation to paint the whole place white is a good idea. I think Vanilla White from Dulux will look nice and bright up the space. Your can use cobalt carpet for staircase and you have plenty of possibilities to be original with art or pictures and accessories.

Hi any ideas on what colour paint or style of wallpaper I could use on the main wall , new sofa is charcoal and black , floor is oak and was thinking of painting the walls a very pale grey( dulux just walnut ) the problem is the feature wall looks really busy with the tv and fire so I am struggling to choose a paper or paint colour any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

As a contrast but to prove the colours work together. We have grey units and cream walls, so yes go for it. I think if you have a darker floor and lighter walls, you'll keep the airy theme. I wouldn't bother with named colour paints from the likes of F&B etc, instead as you want to get the shade right, pick your tile, take the tile and a drawer front to any shop that will mix paint and that offers hundreds of shades and get the pale grey right. It needs to be a warm grey to work with cashmere. I think the phrase now is Greige ( Grey / Beige ).

Hi. You only have a few pics in your ideabook so I don't really know what style you like or what else is in the room. If in budget I would do something like this with subtle black and white geometric tiles. The surround could either be white or a dark grey https://www.houzz.co.uk/photos/contemporary-bedroom-contemporary-bedroom-phvw-vp~15424094 In terms of accessorising you could have a round mirror with just a vase of flowers in front which sit slightly in front of the mirror, choose informal style flowers such as blossom etc alternatively you could just add a piece of art with maybe a couple of bowls, maybe with some brass to pick up the fire, in different sizes on the mantle off centre
