POLL: TV in the bedroom - yay or nay?
Comments (51)I had a TV in my bedroom for most of my adult life, because I was living in a house share or a studio. Whenever I've lived in my own home - which I have for the last fifteen years - and had a separate bedroom, I've not had a TV in the bedroom. I haven't had one for the last eight years and I would hate to have one again. It's sort of intrusive and it has a negative impact on my sleep. I have a radio next to my bed and will listen to that quietly because it can be soothing. I love watching TV, just not where I sleep....See MorePOLL: Wall-mounted TV above fireplace - yay or nay?
Comments (31)The picture shown shows us a example of a badly installed TV where no thought has been put into the interior design of that element in the room. Comments (18)Hello Bagnodesign, I rather think that designing with "trend" in mind would be fleeting and offer the idea of continual change. I rather prefer the idea of designing with longevity in mind.. It's less about being fashionable but more about what is right for the space and clients needs, likes, budget and so forth.. I think this is not a symbiotic relationship between shower and closet and poses no real advantage as you can easily create a luxurious bathroom or shower room with a nearby closet area that is completely separate and moisture free.. It is though, entirely a matter of personal taste, but perhaps all that is needed is a degree of further separation which houses the shower and thus the resulting moisture is contained.. : ))...See MorePOLL: Herringbone pattern - yay or nay?
Comments (14)I have always loved this look. I screams Parisian to me, though I don't know why. I've just bought a new build so have to do all the flooring and my current dilemma is whether or not to do just the entrance and hallway or the whole ground floor in herringbone. Maybe that's a poll question later! :)...See MoreMyWall.ie
