handless gloss or shaker kitchen ?
Comments (5)Hello, It all depends on what finish your door is in from a durability point of view. Yes a flat slab laminate door is easy to clean as it's one flat surface, but a simple square foil wrapped laminate shaker door with no cock bead is not much harder to look after. Please see image attached of one of our past projects in factory sprayed Light Grey. This hopefully shows you, you can achieve a shaker style kitchen but in a very contemporary way, through the elongated cup handle with the grey mirror splashback. Comments (12)Are they B&P? I prefer just the knurled knobs rather than with the back plates (I bought my husband the cufflinks 😂). I think they would be better on a slab door and it's just personal preference, I love the island idea but would prefer less gold but it's your house!...See MoreFarrow & Ball Railings shaker kitchen colour scheme help!
Comments (23)Hi Poppy, Regarding the mantle shelf, they are usually painted the same as the furniture, so it connects everything. I understand to think of it, its seems like a stripe but it does work. Also to help with the dark kitchen cabinets, you definitely need a colour to add the depth and give balance. White will be too stark I would think and as another option to the Purbeck direction, you could try something like Skylight that works amazingly well with Railings Good luck and post a picture of what you choose....See Morehi I have plain white walls an a navy blue shaker kitchen it’s all ope
Comments (6)Hi Andrea, what colour worktops will you be having? I would personally still keep the walls light to contrast against the dark blue. I have a dark deep blue kitchen cabinets with a light worktop and I have F&B Wevet on the walls. Wevet is a white but it has grey undertones which works really well with the blue. If you wanted a bit more colour and something a bit warmer then I would look at the grey neutrals such as F&B Ammonite or Cornforth White. If you are going for a dark worktop though I would definitely keep the walls light and go for a white....See Moreheaders13
