Recommend an outdoor fabric - for curtains

We've a lean-to type shelter on the side of our barn. It consists of a slated roof and 2 wooden posts supporting it, the roof slopes down from the barn wall to the two wooden posts. I would like to add some outdoor curtains to the three sides and could do with a recommended fabric - something more substantial than voile type fabrics. The added difficulty is how I hang them, as it's a lean-to the roof comes away from the barn a bit like a one sided gable roof (sorry don't know what it's called - pent?)
