Very difficult windows - I need help how do I dress them?

As you can see these windows open inwards and have walls blocking all angles. I would love to use shutters but can't see how I would make them work. Any ideas welcome. PLEASE HELP

A slight daring suggestion I have would be to paint on the windows themselves with a very thin layer of watered down acrylic paint or liquid chalk that will dry and begin to make a stained glass window effect as the window is rather small to work with but can become a bit of a feature. It may even add a splash of colour.

Velcro a roman blind to the window.

Yeah Ooh, that is gorgeous fabric! Are you thinking of using that for the curtains? If yes you'll want to use that where the curtains are drawn to show it to its full glory. Wow, that's beautiful! Hi there The best person to help you is a trained designer who can stand with you in the loft and go through your requirements point by point. In order to design well it's important to have a good understanding of the space. What is the Available headroom and slope? How the light comes in? What is your budget? What's going on in the rest of the house? Does the space as designed flow? How tall are you? How physically fit are you? Do you have young children? Where will the ironing board be? Do you like ironing? etc The person who knows the answers to the questions above will come up with a better design than the person who does not know. Laura, you could use a 10mm ripplefold track for sheers inside the reveal, it would cut out some vision width-ways, but would give you screening. Your windows open outwards which is a bonus. No nick-nacks on your windowsill with this though! Your radiator is not in an ideal location, (well traditionally it is thought to be so!). A curved track on the wall would be good if you have stack back space either side. Pamela is correct Silent Gliss would be a good choice. If you want lighter curtains you could use a 'uni' - unlined fabric or use a very light interliner matched to your fabric. Bradley do a 'French' pole which curves back to the wall. If its a living room then probably its your evenings that concern you. A sheer will still give you some privacy, & cut out some sunlight if needed. Double poles are available for two treatments, this is standard in high end or hospitality. Try Nya Nordiska Lana Lino for a wool sheer that doesn't stretch and hangs well.
