Comments (18)Hi, If you are looking to modernise the look, personally I think light, bright and fresh colours work best along with highlighting the features that are already there. Remove the curtains to open up the room and maximise the light. Comments (3)Hi Jennifer, Great question - firstly, I don't think that two different types of blinds will necessarily look odd, but it's a case of carefully matching them. However, I'm not sure panel blinds will have the desired effect of controlling the heat in a south-facing room. You say you have looked at PerfectFit blinds - these types of blinds can be made with honeycomb Pleated fabrics which help to control temperature extremes. Our ThermaShade Pleated fabrics are just like this. Comments (7)I've a slatted wooden style blind in my bathroom in arctic white. It has a textured white paint finish where the wood pattern shows through. To cope with the damp it is not real wood but looks like the real thing. I got it from online company Blinds2Go and it was very reasonable priced. It is quite heavy and sturdy with wider slats and much nicer than some you can buy. You send them the measurements and they will make them up.
