Hallway flooring

Hi, the hall in our new house is 5m long by 1m wide. Three will be 3 oak veneer doors leading off it which my husband wants to leave a natural colour (we will probably just protect them with oil). The skirting boards and stair banister will be painted white. My problem is I want a dark wood flooring, is this too many shades of wood? I can't decide whether to go for the dark or try and get close to the shade of the doors. The walls will be painted in a light sage green. Thanks.
