Where can I fin a copper / brass tap like this at a mid range price
Comments (12)Hello Karen, The copper tap is by Vola... In order to get it for that price it may be that you need to enlist the help of a lovely designer who might be able to offer you trade on it especially if you're doing the whole bathroom but I feel that this price is still under cost price to them. If you included something else or more of the same tap range for bath and or shower rose fittings you can then start to bring the pricing down individually.. It could also be that multiple purchases across their umbrella range bring the pricing down further.. A white (Off white) Concrete basin like the one I sent you on the other thread would be about £760 ex vat. I am saying this as I have a contact that deals with Vola and Kast... Should you be interested in a sink too... : ))...See Morewhere can i buy an oval shower curtain rail in antique brass or black?
Comments (4)Thank you but no - I did find a couple of polished brass ones - I did think I could try to matt/blacken it myself as a last resort?...See MoreShower head height
Comments (16)As I've got such great commenters on here :) can I get your thoughts on something else please (this room is proving somewhat problematic!). the room is really narrow so I'm looking at this concrete sink, albeit a bit bigger than shown, which will sit on a steel vanity I'm having made (although the basin will also be wall supported). The basin is 350mm deep however the taps I've found that are in budget project 200mm. What are your thoughts both aesthetically and practically? Ideally I think the tap should probably sit in the middle of the sloped part. Btw, it only took 5 years but I finally realised that the rest of the shower room floor had been raised.......See MoreCleaning black taps
Comments (7)As you say having black does sometimes cause a problem. I use a fresh lemon on mine and it works well but mine are stainless steel and I wouldn’t recommend it on black. Lemons are really acidic and very good for cleaning certain products. I would just try some of the usual household cleaners....See Morekhorton_0
