Paint colour help!

Hi,
I am at a loss as to what to do with our living room, it is long and narrow and not that light.
It's been this colour since we moved in and could do with a refresh. I have tried numerous tester pots but not sure what to do. Any ideas on colour, would be great, should I go for something similar/ darker or I am thinking of changing curtains to something that would match cushions in a duck eggy colour but wasn't sure whether to do this or paint walls in a duck eggy blue but was worried this might make the room feel cold.
Also thinking of getting rid of the piano and changing mirror and lamps, any suggestions gratefully received. Everything else needs to stay but could be rearranged, but the picture by my craft table is just waiting to go somewhere else but I can't find a big enough wall space at the mo anywhere!

I saw the first photo and thought add turquoise as it works well with the chocolate and then I saw the 2nd photo which already has blues - I think you are already on track. As you are leaning towards nature's colours - brown (earth) blue (sky) you could either keep with these layering different tones or introduce another earth colour - green. There are so many shades that would well in this room but if it were my room and furniture I would look to be working with these colours to keep it calming. If you want to keep the walls neutral tangerine or red would well as accents - rug, throw, cushions, curtain trim too and add just a hint of spice.

Paint samples on A2 or A3 size paper and look at them in various areas and at various times of day and with different lightbulbs etc as all of these factors can make a difference ! Love the blue and cashmere choice !!! Nb. F&B Purbeck Stone is a good match to DIY Kitchens cashmere colour if you wanted a match anywhere !

@Carolina I like the colours in the photo you've shared, they look more neutral than grey which is what I want. Do you know what colours they might be? To give you more of an idea of the space this photo is taken from the kitchen end of the room facing away from the kitchen and I've added Amitco Blonde Oak added using their clever room visualiser (we want a wood effect LVT which brings warmth to the room) . You can see we do have the dark framed doors (anthracite grey) which might help tie in a dark island, although they are some distance away. Was also thinking of going dark blinds in the bay window, such as these double roller in iron grey. But maybe better going for Navy if we went with @Juliet Docherty's suggestion of Basalt 221 We're having Quartz worktops and wanted to keep it white with a subtle vein, so something like this. This was my attempt at a mood board which I put together many months ago when starting the project.

Hi Ellie, I’ve attached some extra photos showing the outside of the house & architect drawings of the ground floor. The kitchen was installed earlier this year after we knocked 2 walls down that separated the old kitchen, dining room & hallway that lead from the front door to the front room.
