Need an space saving seating concept for open plan area

Hi, I am looking for some good ideas on how to arrange seating in the open plan area seen in the photo. The area needs to serve both as a place for parents and kids during the day and an adult seating / reception area in the evening. I think it will be an impossible balance but looking for ideas.
The wall will have Vitsoe shelving. I was thinking a couple Barcelona chairs but they may be a bit too uncomfortable.
Any ideas/photos are welcome!
