places to buy good quality landscape benderboard in LA?

I'm working on a landscape remodel and need to find some quality benderboard. Lowe's and Home Depot have stuff that is junk, very thin, narrow, poor quality materials, just not even worth considering.

I'm interested in two products I've seen but can't find. On This Old House and other home improvement shows I've seen them use a steel benderboard that is thick, about 1/8", so it's strong yet still flexible. The other product is a recycled board like trex, 3/4-1" thick and notched on both ends so the joints can overlap. It's thick enough to be strong yet still bendable and won't rot.

I've tried to find both products using google but all I come across is manufacturer's websites with wholesale distributors, no place for retail sales. Does anyone out there know where I can buy these or other products similar to what I've described? Any landscape supply outlets in the LA area that carry more varieties and better quality products than the big box stores?

usually the wholesaler can provide a list of retailers--did you try that angle?

I have made some inquiries but no results yet, many of them I've found don't have phone numbers only email responses and response rate on that is hit and miss.

Oh I am completely green with envy! To buy a beautiful house and score all that gorgeous furniture - how fabulous! I haven't read all the posts but agree that to paint most of these pieces would be a crying shame. I also agree with having a few antique dealers look at your furniture and assess it's value; then sell the pieces you're not so fond of & enjoy those pieces you love.. At the risk of causing upset to anyone, the only pieces I'd consider painting would be those that are damaged beyond restoration but could still be usable &/or functional.... My head is still spinning at all that fab furniture - IF you could find it in Australia you'd be paying $$$$$$!

Hello All, hope you're having a lovely Saturday - just saw Wales win their first Euro 16 match; very happy, now waiting for England. Quick update: cut the grass on a high setting following advice and did some weeding. Decided to jet wash the patio but found that my garden hose had holes in it. Had to dash, in the rain, to Poundstretcher to get a new one. I've never used a jet wash power and had a little taster. See below. Tomorrow, I hope to wash the patio properly but it's hard work. Tommy Turtle's looking a lot better and you can the slabs that I've done so far. Think I need to sweep first as the moss was flying everywhere! A little comparison, of what can be. Hopefully, I will post the results tomorrow. How is everyone getting on with their projects? Keep posting!

We can really relate to this poll as we design and install all manner of home cinemas, from a sound-bar right through to a dedicated cinema room which will deliver better visual and sound than the local cinema. However, we find the cinema is still an experience for some of our customers: - you get to see the latest film you've been waiting for - maybe grab a meal before/after - maybe the film just has to be seen in 3D or in an IMAX [3D at home is typically limited] We think that some films just have to seen at the cinema; and with the latest entry-level TVs offering a great picture and cinema surround sound systems readily available off the shelf, the quality of cinema at home is really accessible - especially for your favourite boxset!!

Good afternoon everyone! We are blown away by the amazing response we have had from this community, thank you everyone for your feedback. We are especially grateful to Jonathan for his valuable feedback.. the idea is genius and makes so much sense! Thank you so much Jonathan for taking out the time to help us! I have never seen my husband so impressed by an idea so much!! I have attached a couple more photos showing view of the garage from the front of the house along with the entrance gate itself into the property. I have also attached a copy of our floor plan. We would really appreciate your thoughts on what we could to with the garage and front exterior in terms of: Garage walls - What do you think about the brick work? Worth keeping, or should we clad? Garage roof - We currently have an unsightly metal sheet. We don’t want to fully rebuild but we’ve seen light weight roofing for garages which look like tiling. Any suggestions or thoughts on this? Front exterior - We’re looking to improve kerb appeal of the house from the front, any ideas welcome (cladding, paint, stone work?) Windows - these are the original single pane windows which unfortunately come with poor insulation. Any thoughts on what to do for those? Further to the front patio suggestion, is it worth installing an entrance which leads straight into the kitchen through the current ‘Study’? See floor plan. (We are planning to extend the current kitchen by a further 2.5m towards the rear garden). Any ideas, suggestions and comments will be really appreciated, thank you for your help!

I'll answer my own question for anyone who wants to know. I found 4" and 6" plastic benderboard that is about 5/8" thick by 20' long at Landscape Warehouse in Altadena. LW has several other locations in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. It's a business that was started by a Latino gardener turned landscaper turned businessman and they cater to the Latino gardener/landscaper businesses. They carry mostly irrigation supplies, very nice people. I haven't found any other retail place that carries the wider 6" planks which is what I was interested in.

Greenland supply in Inglewood carry's the steel edges (really high end look but around $100 per piece
