This is a real family kitchen with a very authentic fee. My own take would be to go one of two ways. Either go with the warm in the kitchen that you so obviously feel drawn to.... in which case the gingham in the warm tone would suit well. If you felt you wanted to tie in and bring together the more designed look, then go with the closest you can get to the Aga, these are samples but you can probably get a better match. Gingham is a class country furnishing choice, your home says family, warmth, winter suppers near the bum warmer...gingham won't fight that in winter, and will brighten the feel in summer. Hello comgetme, Good to hear! Well of all my accounts (over 25 and growing) I always like fewer rather than the whole range.. I'm sooper sooper picky! I think if you choose well for the specific requirements they do look amazing.. It's taste in the end.. Also my lovely people I have accounts with send me large samples.. So I stick it on the walls and live with it for a while.. See how it works with other aspects of the room and light changes.. I would suggest this for a client as well and paint.. It needs to be seen in all lights.. For a few that I love.. Zoffany, Cole & Son, Altfield, HoH. I really like the amazing and the less mainstream but really good quality and high end aesthetic is a must..A lot of papers are now paste the wall, which is great and HoH even have markers for cutting so the pattern repeat is already aligned based on a standard wall height. You cut 1, 2, 3, 4 lay them out and away you go.. : ))

Hi Katrina, we think a plain silk in a soft neutral colour would be perfect to complement the shine of the wallpaper and the chandelier glass droplets. This would create a very feminine boudoir atmosphere. This picture shows silk curtains in our Nepal Silk fabric, you would probably choose a shade closer to silver or white to work in your colour scheme. The Pret A Vivre team

I've just been playing around with a few bits, excuse the collages as they're not very high resolution. As the paper and lights are sophisticated I'm personally finding it quite hard to find kids stuff that works! The 2nd blind fabric shown on the wallpaper in the last pic I think would work for any age (albeit slightly unusual pirate ships!). I haven't had a proper look for a trunk but a vintage steamer type one would work, the boys might find it fun to role play with that and the "sea" rug? I can look for other bits if you like the idea and maybe some different cushions
