how was the hidden lighting set up for this kitchen ?

has limited details of other aspects of the design. We help when we can if we
have access to the relevant information but we are bespoke designers and
manufacturers of kitchens and can only answer questions about the kitchen
cabinetry and appliances – sorry!

Hello Stella, Okay.. Well I would say that you could have pendants given the size of the room and if you're not having overhead extraction on the island for example... Also there are many other things you can do with an island that doesn't necessarily involve lighting at all.. You might want to hang your pans for example.. It's not a prerequisite to have lighting here. Interested to know what the Tropical garden window splashback is.. but don't forget a pendant can be a cluster configuration of a single drop. They look really gr8 at differing heights and 3 or 5 could be fantastic. In this way you can actually create something bespoke.. Things to consider are that beautiful bulbs that can be a feature in themselves... Scale... Large expansive, vs smaller. Then textures as this can create interest... Also colour... can you pick out the splashback somehow.. You can do this kind of thing with 1 ceiling rose and multiple outlets.. Have interesting cable and hooks... For other ways to illuminate which I can shed some light on... : ) ) no pun intended are wall lighting.. consider something more interesting than a spot or the usual suspects.. : ))

I think Pendant lighting can add a dramatic statement to kitchens with a simple colour scheme, such as monochrome. Hidden lighting can feel warmer but for me, lighting can have such a great impact on the overall design of a room - especially bright spaces like kitchens and bathrooms.

Hello Susan, Do you want to make a feature out of the roof and therefore have some up lighters? You could have some hidden lighting and then focus on wall lighting and or other forms of accent lights.. The use of LED tape is very versatile and relatively easy to incorporate into cabinetry, some top tips: - Think about where you locate your lighting driver as some tapes need to have this relatively local - Always place tape on the aluminium profile as this prolongs it's life and performance - Most will come with a diffuser that will eliminate 'spotting' of the individual LED and give a smooth light spread on the surface/wall - If you have a few lighting scenes then consider some lighting control like Lightwave
